Ubuntu Package Repository

You can add the unicap-imaging.org package repositories to your sources file to automatically get new releases.

Setting Up the Repository on Ubuntu

03. Feb 2008 The repository layout has changed! Please update your repositiories according to these instructions! If you have used the repositories previously, you need to change contrib to main in your sources line.

Perform the following steps to add the unicap package repository to your Software Sources:

1. Download the public.key file below.
2. Open the Software Sources dialog ( System->Administration->Software Sources ).
3. Select the Third Party Software tab.
4. Click Add....
5. Copy this line into the APT Line text entry:
   For Ubuntu 7.04 ( Feisty ):
   

   deb http://unicap-imaging.org/packages feisty main contrib

   
   For Ubuntu 7.10 ( Gutsy ):
   

   deb http://unicap-imaging.org/packages gutsy main contrib

   
   For Ubuntu 8.04 ( Hardy ):
   

   deb http://unicap-imaging.org/packages hardy main contrib

   
   Then click on Add Source
   
6. Select the Authentication tab.
7. Click Import Key File....
8. Find the public.key file you downloaded in step 1 and click OK.
9. Close the Software Sources dialog.
