What is unicap?

Unicap is a video capture library. It provides lowlevel drivers for different kinds of video devices and an abstraction layer. The abstraction layer ( libunicap ) provides a uniform API for the different video capture devices.

What is unicapGTK?

UnicapGTK is a set of GTK widgets intented to make GUI application development as easy as possible. UnicapGTK cosists of the following components:

• a video display widget which can also handle the complete capture process.
• a property dialog widget which automatically creates an easy to use dialog for all available device settings
• widgets to let the user select a supported video device, video format or change individual properties

What is UCIL?

UCIL is the UniCap Imaging Library. It is meant to be a simple library providing basic image processing functions like drawing lines and other primitives. Also some image effects like blending two images are implemented in this library. The main use for this library is to make it easy to create overlay graphics and display them in the video display widget.
